Somerset Villa is a large Victorian house built out of local carstone and is situated only 300 yards from the beautiful Hunstanton sea front.
Nearby is the sensory park and local cliff top gardens which are ideal for residents walks.
Somerset Villa was once a large family home and although now converted into its present role as a care home, it still keeps the warmth and sense of well being only found in a family home.
The home is set out with an open plan dining room and lounge leading on to a sun lounge which then opens out onto an enclosed courtyard.
With this layout residents are always interacting with the everyday life of the home.
The kitchen is laid out as you would find in a domestic house, giving the residents that "homely feeling" when walking past.
The aim of the home is to give our residents the sense of being a part of a warm, happy and secure environment whilst being cared for by our friendly team of trained staff, and not forgetting Max and Louie our resident dogs.

All our staff have undertaken extensive induction training and they all work in shifts, covering both day and night. At each change of shift, incoming staff are updated during a short hand over session ensuring that there is a consistent flow of care to our guests.
Somerset Villa upholds all health & safety by implementing all current fire regulations with notices and fire extinguishers located throughout the building with the fire exits clearly marked.
We have always taken fire safety training very seriously and this has been favourably commented upon in our fire inspection reports. So all our staff are given full fire training at regular intervals in order to keep our standards exceptionally high.
Somerset Villa has been accredited by Norfolk County Council and registered with the Commission for Social Care Inspection (CSCI).
