Our Aims & Objectives..
Consumer Care Policy..
- Encourage and assist in maintaining a high quality of life, with respect for the residents individuality.
- Encourage independence and allowing the residents to choose their own level of freedom, habits and lifestyle wherever possible.
- Respect the residents privacy.
- Encourage the following of their chosen religion and fulfill their spiritual needs.
- To address residents as they wish.
- Safeguard all residents from discrimination on the grounds of race, gender, age, religion and or language.
- Provide medical & nursing care in a private place.
- Allow bathing and washing & use of toilet facilities in private or the the assistance of a member of staff if requested by the resident.
- Care is provided for all residents by appropriately trained staff who are on duty all the time providing 24 hour high quality care.
- Let the residents receive visitors at reasonable times.
- Provide homely, safe and clean accommodation of a high quality standard & encourage residents to bring their own personal possessions into the home when joining Somerset Villa.
- Provide a wide choice of high quality appetizing and nourishing food, appropriate to the residents needs and personal wishes.
- Residents are encouraged to participate in recreational activities, if the person desires and given plenty of opportunity to develop new hobbies and pastimes.
- We have a contract of residency on file, prior to the residents admission to Somerset Villa
Consumer Care Policy..
Here at Somerset Villa we aim to provide a service with an atmosphere as homely as possible for all the residents at our home. We will always value your suggestions for improvements.
